Research Interests
  • Time-resolved laser spectroscopy (Raman, fluorescence, LIBS)
  • Development of the next-generation of in situ planetary instruments, e.g. for Mars, primitive bodies such as asteroids and comets, Venus, Mars’ moons Phobos and Deimos, and Earth’s moon
  • Detector development spanning the far infrared to the ultraviolet; new materials systems for improved detector performance (e.g. Sn-Ge, Sn-Si and Ge:BIB detectors).
